Situated in the coastal area around Warkworth and Alnmouth, they are midway between Berwick-upon-Tweed and Newcastle in the north east of England and within easy reach of Alnwick, Amble, Bamburgh, Beadnell, Craster, Dunstanburgh, Hexham, Holy Island, Morpeth, Rothbury and Seahouses, as well as Kielder Water and Forest Park and Northumberland National Park.
